Describe the typical 'pimp' in North America? Younger to mid aged men driving a fancy car and has fancy expensive clothes Black, or Asian's men with tattoos, mid 30's to 60 White, younger men who could be pictured as the 'boy next door' Anyone5. What does Domestic Human Trafficking mean / look like? Taken by force, locked up and sold for sex Prostitution Being, Lured, coerced, manipulated into prostitution facilitated by a 3rd party Selling body parts6. (Hint, it will damage the goods) The 'boyfriend' threatens the victims life and or family Manipulates him/her into thinking she has done something wrong by withholding things he has previously Has sex with him/her then rewards her The 'boyfriend' starts to hit and swear at the unsuspecting victim. Starts to alienate him/her from their family and friends Tries to push him/her sexual boundaries7. What does 'Luring' mean for Domestic Human Trafficking? Trying to get the teen into the car Tempting someone with money for sex Learning if the person is vulnerable and has unfulfilled dreams All of the above8. What SHOULDN'T you do if you believe your child or someone they know is being trafficked? Call the police Have a conversation with the 'possible' victim Contact Victim Services for help and assistance Ground or punish them from using all phones, laptops or computers Share a video with him/her to show them to see if they relate to any of it, to find out if that is what is really happening.9. Exploitation is one of the 4 stages. Which answer does NOT happen in the exploitation stage.
